Privacy Policy
How CliqSpy handles account data, billing records, cookies, analytics, and payment-related privacy. Last updated: March 25, 2026.
1. Who we are
CliqSpy is a software product for competitive Google Ads intelligence and related research tools. This policy applies to the public website and the connected application experience. The public landing site may use Google Analytics to measure visits and page usage. The authenticated app experience is not described as using Google Analytics here unless we state otherwise separately. For privacy questions or data-rights requests, contact [email protected].
2. What data we collect
- Account data such as email address, display name, and hashed password.
- Session and security data stored in necessary authentication cookies and server-side logs.
- Workspace data, keywords, scans, and generated intelligence.
- Credit, transaction, invoice, and billing support records needed for account operation and audit trails.
- Basic security logs such as login events, IP address, and user agent.
- Website usage data collected through privacy-focused analytics and standard hosting logs.
3. Why we process it
We process personal data to create and secure accounts, deliver scans and analysis, credit purchased balances, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, maintain service availability, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Where optional notifications are enabled, we process the related contact data to deliver those notifications.
4. Payment processing and transmission security
Payments are processed by PayPal and related payment providers at checkout. Payment credentials are transmitted over HTTPS/TLS and are entered directly into PayPal-hosted or PayPal-controlled payment flows. CliqSpy does not store full card numbers, CVV values, or full payment instrument details on its own systems.
5. Third-party services
CliqSpy relies on external providers for infrastructure, hosting, analytics, Google Search collection, AI processing, email delivery, and payment handling. For the public website, this may include Google Analytics to help us understand visits, page performance, and traffic sources. These providers process data only as needed to perform the service on our behalf or to complete a transaction you request.
6. Cookies and analytics
CliqSpy uses essential cookies required for authentication and account security. The public website may also use Google Analytics and related analytics cookies or measurement technologies to understand page views, approximate location, device and browser information, referral sources, and general on-site interactions. We use this information to measure landing-page performance, understand which pages are useful, and improve the website. Google Analytics disclosure in this section applies to the public landing site only and not to the authenticated app experience unless we state otherwise separately. We do not use the public legal pages to serve behaviorally targeted advertising.
7. Retention
We retain account and workspace data while an account remains active. Some logs and financial records may be retained longer for security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. When deletion is requested, we will remove or anonymize data that we are not legally required to retain.
8. International transfers
Because our providers may operate in multiple jurisdictions, your information may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and data involved.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or limit certain processing. Contact [email protected] and we will handle the request in line with applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves, our providers change, or legal requirements require it. The date on this page reflects the latest revision.
Privacy requests
